DevOps Engineer Devops ansible puppet salt chef

Design, implement, and manage configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef) to automate server and application deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to create seamless continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure efficient provisioning and scaling of resources.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability of cloud or on-prem environments.
Implement and manage security protocols, configurations, and patching automation.
Develop automated workflows and scripts for system provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
Perform regular systems audits and create reports to enhance infrastructure management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system and application architecture with operational objectives.
Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
Manage disaster recovery plans and ensure data integrity through backup automation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Puppet, Salt, and Chef in production environments.
Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
Proficient with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications are a plus).
Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and firewalls.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
