At least 10 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
At least 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect role.
Proven experience in Education Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud (in order of importance).
Experience in the higher education domain (colleges, universities, schools) is required.
Strong communication, collaboration, and writing skills.
Expertise in Salesforce architecture, with a deep understanding of health checks, security, and data management.
Experience integrating other applications with Salesforce, preferably with some exposure to Boomi.
Experience in UI/UX application coding, third-party integration, and API management with Experience Cloud (OmniStudio, OmniScripts, Flexcards, LWC).
Experience with call center platforms (e.g., Service Cloud, ServiceNow, RightNow).
Bonus Points For:
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II.
Previous experience in the Higher Education sector.
Experience with Boomi for middleware integration.
What You’ll Do
Translate architectural designs into functional Salesforce applications across multiple clouds, including Experience Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud.
Develop custom code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components to meet business requirements.
Implement integrations with AppExchange solutions (such as Linvio, Mogli, Saleswings) and external systems (like Oracle Campus Solutions) using Boomi or other middleware.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Salesforce Technical Architect to implement architectural designs.
Work with business users to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
Configure and maintain digital experiences for students using Experience Cloud.
Streamline student lifecycle management and engagement using Education Cloud.
Develop and execute communication campaigns for student recruitment and alumni relations through Marketing Cloud.
Configure solutions to support student services and issue resolution using Service Cloud.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
