1. Data Architecture and Pipeline Development: 

• Design, build, and maintain robust Snowflake architectures and data pipelines using DBT to ensure efficient data integration and transformation. 

2. Performance Optimization: 

• Optimize the performance of Snowflake databases and DBT models to ensure high efficiency and scalability of data solutions. 

3. Data Quality and Compliance: 

• Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with data governance and security policies. 

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: 

• Work closely with analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions. 

5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: 

• Drive innovation in data engineering practices and continuously improve processes and tools to enhance data capabilities. 

Must have: 

• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, and performance optimization, High proficiency in SQL 

• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them to business requirements, design scalable and reliable solutions 

• Strong skills in developing, testing, and deploying DBT models for data transformation and pipeline management. 

• Expertise in data modelling (both relational and dimensional) and designing efficient ETL processes. 

• Agile – SCRUM, JIRA and Prior experience in Analytics with PowerBI know how 

 
Good to have 

• Basic knowledge of integrating machine learning models and AI algorithms with data pipelines. 

• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 

• Understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc 

• Pharmaceutical experience – Commercial Operations, Patient Engagement  

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Snowflake and DBT. 

• Proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments. 

• Relevant certifications in Snowflake and other cloud technologies are highly desirable. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
