We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our development, testing, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Implement, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and smooth deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize Kafka clusters for real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Continuously improve and streamline our DevOps processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- 5-6 years of experience with Java.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
