Data Governance Analyst

Consult with stakeholders to create data quality requirements and guardrail rules, guide processes to achieve compliance
Validate and monitor the level of data quality
Lead efforts to establish data quality metrics, monitoring, and reporting.
Provide expertise to author Data Quality polices, auditable standards, and processes.
Establish and manage process on data quality root cause identification and issue resolution.
Consult with the business to author metadata and guide process to document the meaning of data and achieve compliance with policies and standards.
Provide context and guidance enterprise metadata management practices.
Populate the Business Glossary
Promote the use of approved data and metadata definitions and reference data
Work with technical stewards to document the technical metadata
Provide expertise with data classification
Determine the retention, archival, and disposal requirements of data
Translate regulatory rules into data policies and standards
Partner with Security on data security requirements
Establish guidelines on data usage to ensure data privacy controls are enforced.
Serving as a Liaison with Business Owners/Lead Business Data Stewards
Provide education and adoption of data management and governance practice to drive culture change.
