Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for cloud data applications. Conduct functional testing of cloud data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Automate test cases and improve testing efficiency using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Perform data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Stay up to date with cloud technologies and best practices in data testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in functional testing, preferably in a cloud environment.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and analysis.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
