JOB DETAIL

· Assist in developing solutions to existing and upcoming technical problems.

· Install, upgrade and maintain DNA Center/Catalyst Center.

· Upgrade and maintain Catalyst Switches using DNA Center/Catalyst Center.

· Configuration updates to Catalyst Switches using DNA Center/Catalyst Center. troubleshooting with ISE, maintaining and troubleshooting endpoints

· Assist with supporting infrastructure solutions to existing or upcoming technical needs or problems.

· Implementation and support of data center network solutions. Analyze, assist with design, document, and migrations.

· Cisco router and data switch configuration, installation, and support.

· Develop remediation plans for security issues identified by vulnerability assessments or penetration tests.

· Monitor, upgrade, troubleshooting and maintenance for the network infrastructure.

· Working with the State of Michigan DTMB CTO Network Services managers and Data Center

· Infrastructure Services staff.

· Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.

· Consult with vendor product specialists, independent research organizations, on-site support

· engineers on best-fit technologies to ensure compliance to department policies & standards and technology roadmap.

· Communicate complex technical concepts to individuals of various technical ability.

· Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL).

· Provide support with performance analysis & troubleshooting.

· Provide direct support to technical and non-technical entities to define requirements and deliver solutions to meet organizational needs including new environment deployment, upgrades, performance tuning, testing and disaster recovery.

· Provide support and subject matter expertise with respect to adherence to best practice

· security framework controls and other industry-based regulatory compliance requirements (e.g.,

· NIST 800-37, 800-53, 800-171, 800-204, 800-207, CIS, PCI, IRS-Pub 1075, CJIS, and related).

· Build and maintain relationships across organizational teams.

· Provide resolution of conflicts, connectivity, and security issues.

· Prepare information for presentations.

· Mentor staff on tips, techniques and best practices to be utilized for the infrastructure environment.
