JOB DETAIL

Workday System Administration:

  • Manage the daily operation and maintenance of the Workday HCM system, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Configure and customize Workday modules including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Talent, Absence, and more as required.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, working with Workday support when necessary to resolve problems.

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Maintain user roles, permissions, and security groups within Workday, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security policies.
  • Regularly audit access controls and system configurations to ensure adherence to internal and external security standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR to manage data integrity, security, and risk management processes.

 

System Configuration and Enhancements:

  • Perform configuration updates for various Workday modules in line with business requirements, including the creation of custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Analyze, design, and implement new features, functionality, and system enhancements based on the latest Workday releases and business needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define system requirements, document processes, and ensure the proper functionality of all integrations.

 

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Manage data loads, mass updates, and imports into Workday, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across the platform.
  • Create and manage custom reports and analytics to meet the needs of HR, finance, and other business units.
  • Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the maintenance of data accuracy.

 

User Support and Training:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user support, resolving Workday-related issues and answering questions regarding functionality and processes.
  • Provide system training to HR, IT, and other departments as needed to maximize the use of Workday features.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, FAQs, and user guides to ensure effective use of the system.

 

Integration Management:

  • Monitor and manage system integrations between Workday and other third-party platforms (e.g., payroll, benefits, and recruitment systems).
  • Work with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with Workday updates, new features, and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize and enhance the system.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of future Workday releases and upgrades, ensuring that changes are thoroughly tested and communicated to stakeholders.

 

 

Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Administrator or in a related role managing Workday HCM, security, and integrations.
  • Experience configuring Workday modules, custom reports, workflows, and business processes.
  • Experience working in HR or with HR systems is a strong plus.

 

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM functionalities, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll
  • modules.
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, including security setup, role management, and user access control.
  • Experience with data imports/exports, mass data updates, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Strong reporting and analytic skills, including proficiency with Workday's reporting tools.

 

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and solve complex system issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and data.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide effective end-user support.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Workday certification in one or more modules (HCM, Payroll, Reporting, etc.) is a strong plus.
