·       Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS in particular, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2/EKS) is required.

·       Kubernetes Experience is required.

·       Strong Cloud Networking experience in AWS

·       Experience with Terrafrom preferred

·       Istio/Envoy Experience is preferred.

·       CI/CD experience (Buildkite, Spinnaker) is preferred.

·       Strong problem solving and solid production debugging skills are required

·       Ability to navigate different technologies to efficiently solve incoming requests.

·       Passionate about efficiency, availability, quality and system quality.

·       Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams is key.

·       Experience with Python/Ruby, Golang, bash scripting.

·       Integrations with slack, asana, jira are good to have.

·       Layer3 networking, Edge Networking, CDN, DNS experience is a plus
