JOB DETAIL

Client’s Digital Core Program is an enterprise-wide program that will replace and connect more than a dozen different Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems through a single, cloud-based system. It is based on SAP S/4HANA and will modernize data systems with an effort spanning seven years. Client’s Mid-continent Business Unit (MCBU) go-live implementation is planned for 2Q2025.
 
This role will be a key interface between the client and Schneider as part of client’s transition to a third party warehousing operating model. The incumbent will serve as a bridge, connecting and coordinating technology efforts to ensure smooth operations and efficient decision-making while offering subject matter expertise. This role will also focus on building a plan to further leverage and integrate Schneider’s technology and digital tools (including its WMS) with client’s anchor platforms, including S/4HANA post go-live. Travel will be required associated with SIT / UIT Testing, Training, and Business and Site Readiness.
 
This role will support client as it prepares for the successful deployment, configuration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) modules in MCBU. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing solutions, managing implementation tasks/projects, and providing post-implementation support to ensure effective use of SAP MM functionalities. The ERP Implementation Specialist will support all aspects of testing, training, go-live prep, business readiness, cutover, and hyper care support.
 
Key responsibilities:
• Implementation Planning: Working with MCBU’s Digital Core team as a liaison to Schneider and inhouse SMEs, support the development of project plans for SAP S/4HANA MM implementation. Coordinate with Client stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test scripts to validate system configurations and ensure they meet business requirements. Address and resolve any issues identified during testing phases.
• Training and Support: Support in developing training materials and delivering training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance post-implementation.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization within SAP S/4HANA MM. Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness based on prior experience.
• Release R2B Support: Support Requirements Gathering and System Configuration decisions associated with the next release update, R2B, in 4Q2025.
• Asset Management / MM Integration Change Management: SAP S/4HANA Asset Management significantly impacts MM by integrating asset-related processes more closely with MM functions (procurement, inventory management, and maintenance planning). Support this integration and change management to improve efficiency and provide better visibility and control over assets and materials.
• Future WMS Implementation Planning / Technology Roadmap Alignment: Build a plan to integrate Schneider’s Warehouse Management solutions, with leading edge WMS capabilities, that seamlessly integrates with clients anchor platforms, including SAP S/4HANA MM.

Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge and experience in implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA models. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA MM functionalities. Proficiency in SAP configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in ERP systems. Proven ability to think critically and use data to make decisions / present recommendations on alternative solutions that will improve performance.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
• 5-10 years previous experience in a similar role is desirable
