Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Epic Project Manager to join our team. This hybrid role (requiring paid travel to Oregon/Washington once/twice monthly) will work closely with the Epic Team to provide recommendations, oversight, and drive impactful changes across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality capable of dealing with and managing strong personalities within the team. They will be instrumental in guiding the migration of Epic to the Microsoft Cloud, implementing ServiceNow, UpFront, and Millimen initiatives, and conducting IT governance assessments and planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Epic Team: Work in close partnership with the Epic Team to provide insights, recommendations, and oversight for various projects and initiatives.
  • Project Management: Lead the migration of Epic to the Microsoft Cloud and manage the implementation of ServiceNow, UpFront, and Millimen initiatives.
  • Drive Change: Act as a change agent, promoting and managing change within the organization. Ensure the team adapts to new processes and technologies effectively.
  • IT Governance: Conduct IT governance assessments, develop strategic plans, and ensure compliance with established standards and best practices.
  • Versatility: Apply a well-rounded Epic experience, covering both inpatient and ambulatory settings, with an added focus on Population Health.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Epic Experience: Extensive and broad experience with Epic, ideally spanning both inpatient and ambulatory environments.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT and healthcare settings.
  • Change Management: Strong ability to lead and manage change, with a track record of successfully driving initiatives in complex environments.
  • IT Governance: Experience in conducting IT governance assessments and planning.
  • Population Health: Knowledge and experience in Population Health are highly desirable.
  • Personality: Strong and confident personality, capable of dealing with and positively influencing strong personalities within the team.
  • Jack of All Trades: Versatile and adaptable, with a preference for broad expertise over specialization.

 

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud: Familiarity with migrating systems to Microsoft Cloud.
  • ServiceNow: Experience implementing and managing ServiceNow.
  • UpFront and Millimen: Knowledge and experience with UpFront and Millimen initiatives.
