We need a Senior SAP HCM Consultant to work with a utility in conducting a comprehensive review and assessment of their payroll operations. This initiative will include an in-depth evaluation of systems, processes, and personnel involved in payroll management. Our goal is to provide a detailed analysis that outlines the current state of their payroll operations, identifies key areas for improvement, and aligns operations with industry best practices. By doing so, we aim to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within payroll operations. We are looking for an SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Consultant to join our project delivery team in this effort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing SAP HCM environment, focusing on system architecture, configuration, integration points, and usage of modules.
• Identify gaps in the current implementation, including inefficiencies, customizations that deviate from best practices, and areas lacking compliance with legal and business requirements.
• Evaluate the alignment of the SAP HCM configuration with SAP best practices and industry standards, recommending adjustments where necessary.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, highlighting potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Provide detailed documentation of the assessment findings, including technical issues, gaps, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate findings, and align the technical assessment with business objectives.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for implementing recommended changes, enhancements, and upgrades to the SAP HCM environment.
