JOB DETAIL

  • Working on Windows 10 – Windows 11 readiness.  They will be doing VDS upgrades next as well.  Will use SCCM to push out upgrades by sector in about a month.  This will go until September
  • Want to deliver with zero data loss, seamless transitions, etc.

 

  • Team is in US and India
  • Heavy Excel  (Pivot Tables, Index Formulas, VLookups, Macros)  / PPT and Jira ticketing knowledge as well.  Have PPT decks targeted for every different group that they interact with.
  • Need to understand if there are discrepancies in Data that they are reporting vs. Power BI dashboards, etc.
  • The data that Tanya presents to all of the stakeholders is going to come from this person.
  • SCCM is good to have as well.
  • Should be able to understand where to find the best and cleanest data – be able to tell about an example of this in their work history.
  • This is an intense project, these people need to be able to handle the pressure,
  • Data Management experience is the primary skillset – Would be good to have worked on a similar type of project (OS System upgrades)
  • Reporting and Data Analytics – Bread and butter, need clean and hygienic data in order to do upgrades efficiently.
  • FinServ is preferred, but if not, they should
  • Good interpersonal skills, and good communication skills as well.  (emails determining where and when the upgrades will occur)

 

 

  • WT Modernization Team is seeking Sr. Data Analyst to assist with OS upgrades at the Bank. This role is key to timely and successful completion of In-place upgrades and VDS upgrades to Windows 11 in 2024 leading into 2025. The scope is upgrading remainder 77K Windows devices in the Bank to Windows 11. To ensure data accuracy by user, machine, software and UDTs prior to the Engineers starting the refresh. Preparing refresh into Waves and sprints by LoB and site and achieving delivery. Scheduling comms by each Wave. Monitoring completion by LoB, BUD and Sector Globally. Ensuring Engineers are delivering white glove service in our key strategic locations. LoB engagement, User interface and issues resolution along with data management and constant data analysis will be integral to delivering Windows 11. Ensuring Executives migration are handled with due diligence and extra attention to detail. We will need the best skillset and prior migration experience to see this effort through completion. This role will be replacing an existing resource temporarily while the resource is on a leave of absence. Heavy Excel, Macros, formulas, pivots skillset and experience is required. Ability to analyse date across different tools is key. This position requires excellent interpersonal, Teams, written and verbal communication skills. LoB Teams knowledge at the Bank will have to be learnt along with our Tools and Technical Library. Resource should be a quick learner and easy to adapt to daily demands and constant challenges. Ability to multitask quickly. Potential candidate will need to leverage existing SMEs within WT Mod Team to ensure quick remediation of issues. Previous experience of OS upgrades is integral and a huge leverage for Win10 to Win11 upgrades. Data flow and systems knowledge is a plus.

 

Must Have:

  • 10+ years of data analytics and business experience.
  • 5+ years of OS upgrades and migrations experience.
  • 5+ years of experience planning and running small development efforts as a technical lead using a sprint/agile style. Ability to define requirements and break down complex projects into ordered lists of detailed technical tasks, track the tasks, report on progress, and escalate blocked and dependent tasks.
  • 5+ years of experience using searches and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards supporting projects, system management, and migration and upgrade rollout activities.
  • 5+ years contribution to developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision. Develops reports in conjunction with the Fellow Architect which demonstrate business opportunities and road map strategies that add business value.
  • Subject matter expert in at least one of the tools/technologies used in the space. Participated in or leads initiatives to analyze infrastructure problems to be solved methodically. Utilizes standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining optimal results.
  • Monitoring project plans and timelines.
  • Acts as a leader for Issues and incident resolution.
  • Manages the processes for ensuring that all systems/applications/software/hardware are compliant with corporate policy/procedures.
  • Monitors project plans and budgets.
  • Drafts proposals on infrastructure architecture and supports the creation of executive summaries.
  • Drives strategy to increase automation across the organization.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel – Pivot tables, Macros, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
