Requirement
This position is a new need within this team.
What will this person do on a day-to-day basis?
Provide technical support for the building, installation, deployment and testing of the solutions, in term of processes, methods and tools required for their activity, as well as standards, assistance and related consulting
Escalated Level 3 technical support to operations teams and assist the project team in resolving deployment issues during business hours. On-call and weekend support is not expected.
This lead position is expected to take responsibility for team ceremonies, lead transverse projects, not as a PM but coordination. For example to help coordinate training and timing of an update to Kubernetes. 40-50% of the work is carrying daily meetings for the team, communicating with counterparts in France, and other leadership duties. The remainder is training and organizing things like a capture the flag event, etc.
Knowledge in the IBM specific toolsets is not an absolute requirement. Kafka, Boomi are most important, and what is also important is integration of these technologies with Gitlab Jenkins, and coaching teams how to accomplish that in workshops of 2-4 hours a day with different squads.

1. IBM, MQ, A6E (IBM Infrastructure Bus latestest version), Datapower, Datastage, Boomi, and Kafka
2. Development Tools (one or more of the following: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular)

3. CICD Tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Git Runners, and Sonar)
4. CFT(Computer File Trabsfer) and Linux admin familiarity are preferred
5. Agile Framework experience (Kanban, Jira)
Other Skill-sets (pluses for the position):
1. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and fluently in English is required.
2. A strong desire for continuous improvement and learning new technologies
3. Apply C/CD principles to allow for continuous integration and development (including monitoring)
4. Coaching/mentoring others to share knowledge and improve overall skill level of the team
5. Must be a TEAM player!
