JOB DETAIL

 

· Design and Develop Interfaces as requested. 
· Design applications to functional and technical programming standards. 
· Ability to provide application specific support directly to users via help desk tickets including user interaction, technical support, troubleshooting, testing, resolution, and documenting solution. 
· End User Training 
· Assist Applications team staff with creation, monitoring, and resolution of Oracle Technical Service Requests. 
· Support installation of application releases into production as directed. 
· Analyze and design enhancements, development programs, and/or required fixes to production problems. 
· Work with Manager of Applications to gather and interpret user requirements into design specifications. 
· Actively participate in implementing advanced software applications 
· Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. 
· Operating System expertise sufficient to perform performance and tuning diagnostics. 
· Generally aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate. 
· Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision of Manager of Applications 
· Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
· Identify and track issues, risks, and action items. 
· Plan all required process steps.
· Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. 
· Research problems before approaching the Manager of Applications for assistance. 
· Develop contingency plans as necessary with approval of the Manager of Applications 
· Follow quality standards of department and complete tasks in a timely manner 
· Engage in ongoing process improvement. 
· Execute all required process steps. 
· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with Management Information Services and subject matter experts. 
· Strong communication skills (both written and spoken) 
· Ability to provide accurate and useful status updates.
