Should be able to handle batch related errors and take appropriate action for production batch cycle Job failures. Should be able to handle and provide permanent solution for break fixes and develop code for AS400 enhancements and project deliveries.Experience of working directly with IT and Business stakeholders.Experience in requirement gathering, designing and solutioning.Flexible for weekend L2 & RFC (Change Request) support as per rotational basis.

Competencies:               AS400_OS and DB2, AS400_CLP

Experience (Years):       4-6

Essential Skills:            

Project experience in Application Support and development in AS400 and Batch jobs,Project experience in AS400 - RPG, CL & DB2 and SQL.

Must have complete understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

Desirable Skills:           

Attitude to learn new technologies depending on Project need.

Knowledge of Agile and tools like JIRA.Knowledge of Insurance domain (Annuities)Basis Knowledge on CONTROL M monitoring & Support for Jobs Knowledge of Aldon tool & OnDemand tool is an added advantage.
