Develop and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our applications and services. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Utilize infrastructure as code principles to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure changes using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.
Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the health, performance, and security of our AWS environment. Utilize tools such as CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, and Grafana to monitor and analyze system metrics and logs.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards for AWS infrastructure, including IAM policies, network security configurations, encryption, and access controls. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Identify opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of AWS resources, including compute, storage, and networking. Implement caching strategies, load balancing, and auto-scaling mechanisms to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime in the event of failures or disasters. Implement backup and recovery procedures for critical data and applications.
Create and maintain documentation for AWS infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures. Provide guidance and training to team members on AWS best practices and technologies.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure in a production environment.

- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, and Grafana.

- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards for AWS environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and techniques.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
