JOB DETAIL

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Linux server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance tuning.
  • Configure and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM for efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible or Puppet to streamline system administration tasks.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Lead efforts to upgrade, patch, and secure Linux servers and applications in compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Solid private or hybrid cloud infrastructure background and operational, fixing and problem-solving experience
  • OpenStack deployment and operations experience
  • Experience with software-defined storage with Ceph or other cloud-based storage.
  • Hands-on experience in build, implementation and configuration of Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects & Fabric Extenders, UCS B-Series & X-Series Blade Servers and UCS Manager.
  • Good experience in configuring UCS Service Profiles, vLANs, vSANs, vNIC & vHBA Templates and handling UCS Firmware upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco UCS Central and Cisco Intersight.
  • Good experience in build and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts & vCenters (vSphere 7/8) and handling ESXi & vCenter patching/version upgrades.
  • Experience in working with VM Migrations (vMotions/Storage vMotions) and Decommissioning of ESXi Hosts & vCenters.
  • Strong understanding of VMware vSphere Networking.
  • Hands-on experience in working with Data Center Migrations is a must.
