Client currently has a ‘Static Cube’/repository to measure and analyze data, but it is far from real-time. This consultant needs to come in and assess their current product, analyze how it was built, and determine what can be done to enhance the current product or reverse engineer and architect new functionality to produce a more real-time product offering.

This Data Architect will need to customize the platform to address unique brand instances. Their data sets are not very large, with 8 brands managing approx. 2,000 jobs per year. Each job generates a unique data instance, resulting in thousands of data sets. There are also differing definitions and applications of data across the brand (sales, cost, vendors, etc.).

Consultant will need to have the ability to understand financials, P&Ls, and some general accounting and finance terms as they review item notes such as jobs, completions, revenue, wins, and #s.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect building Microsoft Data Platforms

  • Microsoft Tools – Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, SSAS, DevOps

• 8+ years of experience with Azure Cloud Services

  • Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure DevOps, Security Tools, Disaster Recovery, Testing

• Must be able to ingest data from multiple avenues

• Significant experience with data integrations including ERP, CRM, accounting & finance data, operations data, job codings, etc.

• Experience with Sage Intact and Dash

  • Client built an interface allowing their project management interface (Dash) and their accounting/finance interface (Sage Intact) to talk to one another (this will be an integration for the data platform)
