We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in Postgres databases to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical applications using Java, participating in deployments, and supporting related tasks such as configuring repositories. In addition, the ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, CloudWatch, and EMR, be comfortable with debugging using Splunk, and reaching out to other teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

•     Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications
•     Participating in deployments and related tasks such as configuring repositories
•     Administering Postgres databases
•     Debugging applications using Splunk
•     Collaborating with other teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance
•     Participating in on-call support duties on weekends
•     Developing automated pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD

Requirements:

•     Experience in developing Java applications using Spring Boot
•     Experience using Java 8 or higher
•     Experience with Maven
•     Experience in Postgres administration
•     Experience in debugging using Splunk
•     Basic knowledge of AWS services
•     Familiarity with Jenkins and ArgoCD
•     Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
•     Strong understanding of DevOps best practices
•     Strong written and verbal communication skills
•     Ability to work collaboratively and independently
