- Competency in SAP R3 for the procurement and financial management of capital projects. (including project work breakdown structure, reporting, purchase requisitions / purchase orders, DoA, taxation)
- Understanding of the relationships between the different functions: Purchasing, Sourcing, Accounts Payable (AP), Finance, Tax, Requisitioners, Expeditors, Receivers
Our client is looking for a SAP PS Consultant based in the United States to support the Operations ITOT Project Systems team with their upcoming Merger, Acquisition & Divestiture activities alongside with representing Project Systems in run the business activities including trouble-shooting issues and updating training documentation.
Some of the critical tasks includes:
- End User Support and training
- Coordinates and executes creation and management of job aids, training materials, and metrics related to IT applications and tools, system functionality, and related work processes
- Support development, testing, and implementation of Operations IT/OT solutions (applications and tools) in support of business processes, work processes, and policies and procedures.
- Data cleansing and/or enrichment
Requirements & Responsibilities SAP PS Consultant Role:
- Experience in IT projects and system carves
- Comprehension of the Procurement / Sourcing processes for material and labor/service requests
- Fast learner
- Team player with attention to detail and a result-oriented mindset
- Able to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA
