Required as part of recently new team.  Key Initiatives of this team:

• Accumulate and visualize privileged accounts for sr execs and regulators – a lot of data/info coming from many systems that marries to show what is compliant / not compliant – a lot of data coming in joining
• Build and maintain architecture – using PowerBI, InCorta, A LOT of SQL code involved,

Build, evolve, maintain

Current architect in play, want localized data arch in this time zone

Moving towards cloud – not going to happen though in the 12 months – working in Azure environment would be a plus

Security is not a requirement – understand concepts state of protection, IAM,

Seeking a contractor who has extensive experience as a Data Architect. Data Architect will be responsible for using SQL and other programming languages to pull data from a variety sources into a central data platform. They must collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and use that to effectively structure datasets and develop metrics. Data Architect should be an expert in SQL and data modeling. They must be a self-starter who is able to collaborate with team members and stakeholders, develop effective solutions, and present findings.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data and metric requirements
• Pull data from a variety of sources into a central data platform
• Structure datasets and calculate metrics based on requirements
• Develop automated scripts to automate otherwise manual processes
• Communicate concerns and data findings as they arise to the appropriate team members or stakeholders
• Present data findings and solutions in a way that is easy for non-technical team members and stakeholders to understand

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Data Architect
• Must be an expert in SQL
• Must be an expert in data modeling
• Python experience is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change
