Test software vendors’ paper tax documents and payment vouchers for barcodes, content, placement, and scanlines

Test software vendors’ electronic file submissions for standards, accuracy, and completeness

Provide software vendors with feedback by documenting errors discovered during testing

Review electronic formatted files to ensure data elements are present

Test and review web forms for posting to the Department’s website

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or Graphic Design                          

 •DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.

•Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired.

•All employees will be fingerprinted.
