• Develop, code, test, debug, and document SAS programming on assigned applications to meet business requirements.
• Customize SAS code, including macro programming and integration with external data stores.
• Work within Unix and Windows environments to deploy and maintain SAS applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Basel regulations, prudential reporting, RWA/RCM calculations, and IFRS regulations.
• Utilize SAS orchestration to manage and streamline data processes.
• Apply extensive knowledge of credit risk, including Probability of Default (PD), Exposure at Default (EAD), and Loss Given Default (LGD).
• Work on both technical and functional aspects of SAS RCM.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as an Application Developer focusing on SAS programming and data analytics.
• Proficient in Base SAS Programming and SAS Macro Programming.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and standards.
• Hands-on experience with credit risk models and calculations.
• Extensive knowledge of SAS data structures and parameterization.
• Experience in both technical and functional aspects of SAS RCM.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAS orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with other statistical and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
