JOB DETAIL

Seeking a dynamic Lead Business Analyst (BA) to join the Digital Technology (DT) Safety & Security Team. This role involves working on multiple programs and systems concurrently, collaborating with various team members, understanding business needs, formulating strategies to extract functional business requirements, and documenting all business, functional, and technical requirements. The Lead BA will also participate in weekly meetings, provide testing support, and create detailed process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, system analysts, project managers, developers, quality control leaders, and S&S Senior Leadership.
  • Understand the requirements of Safety, Corporate Security, and Police (APD) departments.
  • Develop strategies to extract and articulate functional business requirements from various business units.
  • Lead sessions/meetings with functional business subject matter experts to gather requirements.
  • Document all business, functional, and technical requirements for the S&S project teams, including:
    • Requirements Specifications
    • Use Cases
    • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Create detailed documentation of current and future state business and technical processes.
  • Develop proficiency with Lead BA-related PMLP delivery documentation.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with project and S&S teams.
  • Provide functional testing surge support with development teams as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Collaborative and proactive personality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in documenting functional and technical business requirements.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in documenting system functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience with the MS PowerSuite, including PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills.
