Overview: Client is seeking a Senior SAP SCM Functional Consultant to spearhead business and IT operations, from production support to S/4 HANA upgrades. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of sourcing & procurement and supply chain management, coupled with exceptional analytical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support business and IT operations, including production support, enhancements, and S/4 HANA upgrades.
- Analyze client business processes and requirements, designing and implementing solutions in sourcing & procurement and supply chain areas.
- Prepare and present detailed system proposals to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create scalable and efficient SAP configurations, leveraging S/4HANA's embedded analytics for real-time visibility into SCM operations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including business users and IT staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and oversee testing plans to ensure SAP system functionality and performance.
- Provide comprehensive training to users/IT on new processes.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain modules integration with other modules, and 3rd party systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory, MM, WM, and purchasing modules, with expertise in managing master data in SAP S/4 environment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams in complex project environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues during the project life cycle.
- Willingness to work remotely with occasional travel (once every 2 months).
