- Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of its ecosystem for data engineering tasks
- Experience in developing and managing API integrations and handling bulk data ingestion
- Strong foundation in database technologies, and experience with SQL
- Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and storage principles
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new datasets and APIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially when it comes to ensuring accurate data ingestion and presentation
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external data providers
- Experience with data modeling and knowledge engineering concepts and frameworks (e.g. RDF, EAV, etc.)
