This position sits with the Commercial IT team. There are two positions here will sit within Capital Markets team. One position will sit within the finance squad and the other within the fixed income squad.
 

Commercial IT has about 16 data engineers spread out between different business units/projects; encino, WRP profitability, equipment finance squad, and recently capital markets.
 

The make up of the Capital Markets team is 8 squads, and a data squad within that. The idea is to have a data engineer on each squad so that not all data issues have to go to the data squad.
 

They need 3-5 years of experience, SQL, ETL tools- DataStage ideal but open (some dev within DataStage create pipeline as needed and how to run ETL as needed and monitoring and fixing if there is a breakdown, and/or change logic requirements if needed, data testing automation , communication with stakeholder and LOB)
They need to be able to understand, gather requirements, and problem solve with data being used. working with cloud- snowflake and DBT is a much. (would be open to seeing someone with azure but they use snowflake).
quick learner is support important.
 

nice to have- banking or cap markets experience.
