A highly skilled Senior DevOps Architect with extensive experience in Grid Modernization.
The ideal consultant will have a deep understanding of distribution schemes within Client and a proven track record in designing and implementing robust DevOps practices for Distributed Energy Resource (DER) meter collars and related systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a utility company, with at least 3 years of experience on AMI systems, meter collars, and utility distribution schemes.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement DevOps strategies and frameworks for AMI systems, focusing on a new meter collar.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the DER meter collar adapter.
Automate deployment processes, monitoring, and maintenance of DER meter collar to ensure compliance, high availability and scalability.
Lead the development of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to Junior DevOps Engineers and other team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
