This individual will be responsible for Architecture of the application and over the next 1.5 years will be assisting with the modernization of the platform and software. They are using JBOSS fuse application on Linux, talking to Oracle databases on the backend. SOAP and JSON profile, running JBOSS and will be rewriting with open shift and RabbitMQ OR Kafka. Must be able to pick up an alternate to spring boot for a proof of concept. Ultimately, looking for a Solutions Architect, strong Java background who can help to create software solutions across the enterprise and have the mix of technical skills with soft/communication skills to deliver results and provide rational behind the design.
I need someone who has experience functioning in Solution Architect capacity getting development teams to buy-in and implement their proposed solutions.
3+ years of experience in Solution architecture.
· 10+ years Java development experience.
· Angular experience.
· Experience with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
· Strong proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
· Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
· Experience with Maven, Git and Jenkins required.
· Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
· Proven experience contributing to Infrastructure architecture and Data Architecture.
· Hands on experience in both greenfield development and the refactoring/rewriting of aging
applications.
· Experience directly leading architecture & software design for one or more teams.
· Experience working in an Agile Model, preferably SAFe.
· Experience with CI/CD practices.
· Experience using open-source technologies in an enterprise environment.
· HealthCare experience pertaining to Medical Claims processing is preferred.
· Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. · Ability to
balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions.
· Ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements.
· Ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff.
· Ability to articulate business issues/concerns with staff, peers, superiors, and outside parties
(e.g., vendors, partners).
· Ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives.
