Build Python applications, APIs and automation scripts on AWS environments to support data defense initiatives like classification and tagging of cloud data assets.
Builds automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning on AWS cloud environment.
Creates proof of concept for data security and classification initiatives.
Maintains third party solutions to help with data defense and DLP initiatives.
Translates technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients.
Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports. Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that supports automation.
Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues.
Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients.
Performs systems analysis activities.
Qualifications
Python development (including boto3) - 5+ years , AWS – (s3, lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB etc., ) - 5+ years
Strong 5 – 8 years’ experience in AWS solutioning and backend/API development.
Strong AWS services experience including s3, lambda, DynamoDB, Glue catalog, CloudFormation, IAM, SNS, tags etc.
Strong hands-on development experience in Python and Boto3 library
Experience in maintaining third party or custom build solutions on AWS infrastructure.
Strong experience with CICD tools.
Experience with DLP tools and or Data classification efforts is a great plus.
