JOB DETAIL

Senior Project Manager. SAP projects

Experience: 6 years minimum as a PM

 Will be responsible for IT projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently. Most projects will be for SAP and the supporting infrastructure / environments, like SAP SPS, Upgrades, Cloud solutions, IaaS, SaaS.

Need a highly qualified project manager to help client maintain SAP environments and support other IT projects associated with the WMS (Warehouse Management System) platform.

Must have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans.

Will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that the goal of innovation is being achieved.

 

Mandatory Skills:

ü  Six+ years of project management experience.

ü  Experience as IT Project Manager in technologies and software platforms.

ü  Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.

ü  Proven success working with all levels of management.

ü  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

ü  Excellent presentation skills.

ü  Professional certification such as PMP is a plus.

ü  Experience in developing platforms for internal processes.

ü  Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish standards and processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
  2. Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance SAP and WMS technologies, and experiential projects.
  3. Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
  4. Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  5. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
