We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Specialist to oversee all aspects of the Tableau platform, from implementation and development to ongoing management and integration. This role involves managing data sources, designing and building dashboards, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and providing comprehensive support to users across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen understanding of data management and visualization best practices.

Responsibilities may include:
Platform Management: Oversee the Tableau platform, ensuring its smooth operation, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
Data Management: Manage data sources and connections, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for dashboards and reports.
Dashboard Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, and maintain dashboards that meet business needs, offering insights and visualizations for decision-making.
User Access: Set up and manage user access, ensuring appropriate permissions are assigned to each user group, in alignment with organizational policies.
Technical Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to the Tableau platform, ensuring minimal disruption to users and operations.
Performance Optimization: Monitor platform performance, identifying areas for optimization, including database tuning and server configuration adjustments.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Tableau platform, including configurations, processes, and best practices.
User Training: Provide training and support to users across the organization, ensuring they can effectively utilize the Tableau platform and its features.
System Integration: Work with IT and other departments to integrate Tableau with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
Compliance: Ensure the Tableau platform and its data management processes comply with relevant industry standards and organizational policies.
