JOB DETAIL

»      Review patch release notes and identify patches relevant to the system under test

»      Evaluate and prioritize available Windows patches based on severity

»      Download the patches from Microsoft server

»      Utilize the existing gold copy image of production environment and mimic the configuration to deploy test environment

»      Deploy the new patches released by Microsoft to the test environment

»      Execute tests to ensure that patches do not cause issues within existing software and configurations

»      Assess the risks associated with patching activities and report to client teams

»      Assist Client teams in troubleshooting the patch-related issues

»      Ensure that patching activities align with Client security policies

»      Collaborate with Client teams in identifying ways to implement automated patch management

»      Conduct tool feasibility and recommend the best tool for automation

»      Develop and maintain an automated patch management plan for VRAS system

»      Guide Client and partner teams to implement best practices on patch management, troubleshooting and automation
