• Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional data requirements for cloud data engineering projects.
• Excel in relationship building and communication effectiveness to collaborate and document end-user's data needs and requirements.
• Identify data requirements, including new data sources and specific data fields (including sensitive data) driven by business reporting & analytics use cases.
• Develop detailed requirements documentation, high-level requirements deck, and requirements feature work items with acceptance criteria (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIRA).
• Relate requirements to design by performing data profiling and translating requirements to detailed designs.
• Coordinate with data engineering delivery teams to address requirements clarification questions in the implementation phase.
• Agile knowledge and experience, preferably as Product Owner/Product Manager experience, to prioritize and accept work.
• Experience working in Agile team/Agile Release Train.
• Strong SQL Skills and oral/writing communication skills.
• Desired: Retail bank experience; SAFe certifications (Leading SAFe or SAFe PO/PM or equivalent certifications); knowledge in Azure Synapse, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, and Data modeling.
