- Experience in health plan systems is preferred.

- 9+ years of experience in IT and business/industry.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in information services or a related field is highly preferred
- 5+ years' systems experience in managed care and/or healthcare/health insurance environment, including 2+ years' in a leadership position having broad oversight of systems operational functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Document business needs and requirements, solution design, acceptance criteria, function/technical mapping and coordinate with testing teams to document QA test cases.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Independently manages the completion of assigned tasks ensuring priorities and timelines are met - Typically, manages 4 - 5 projects, affecting multiple departments, with significant departmental cost and impact.
- Supports system conversions and upgrades, contributes to the development of implementation plans, deployment and migration documents and provides support to facilitate system implementations.
- Participates in internal and external audits, reviews and inspections.
- Demonstrated technical and project coordination skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple, concurrent projects and to delegate responsibilities.
- Develops test plans, quality assurance and audit procedures for new systems or system enhancements.
