2-3 years of professional BI Analysis Experience ideally within a medium-large size corporate environment
Must be able to take data sets that are built out already/fields are derived – and create tables and dashboards on the existing data
Expertise with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for dynamic querying responsibilities
Power BI Report Builder experience (Used for creating paginated reports)
Ability to determine what data to retrieve, where to get it, and how to display it
Communication skills fit for working with cross functional teams to gather data and information needed to create reports for the financial executives
BI ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create reports and dashboards for executives and finance teams
First part of project will be to create 4-5 dashboards at a high level
Need to set up the dashboards, and ensure it is consistent with the other dashboards being created
Developing dynamic queries and summarization of information/tables
Examples of functions: date & time functions, time intelligence functions, information functions, logical functions, mathematical & trigonometric functions, text functions, parent-child functions, etc.
Examples of visualization: bar charts, line charts, pie/donut charts, maps, KPIs, dashboards
