A Data Architect is required build and edit Data Factory pipelines, manage database needs, reporting, work with customers on file issues and perform data research.
This individual will be expected to work with the current application development team to provide enhancements and support on VITA's system.
The following are the expected experience/skills:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Oracle 12c or greater is required.
- 5+ years serving in a data architecture position is required.
- 5+ years experience building data flows using ETL tools is required. Azure Data Factory experience is required.
- Ability to architect and model mission critical RDMS, BI, OLTP, OLAP and solutions leveraging multiple DBMS technologies is required.
- Extensive experience with Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Flows and Data Modeling is required.
- Azure Power BI experience required
Demonstrated experience with profiling and loading files from various data sources which include RDMBS, OLAP cubes, mainframe file systems, web services, APIs, XML, text files and other documents is required.
- Extensive experience creating and implementing ETL processes is required.
- Ability to work with both business and technical users to define and gather reporting/analytics requirements with experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive data reporting strategies and analytic solutions is required.
- Ability to work with both business and technical users to define and gather reporting/analytics requirements with experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive data reporting strategies and analytic solutions is required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, delivering quality systems in short time frames, is required.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, along with the ability to develop and present complex material effectively to a variety of audiences are also required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with both business and technical users across all levels of the organization is required.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively on project teams, and to work independently with minimal supervision, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with customers and co-workers while delivering quality systems in short time frames is required.
- Experience with Azure PowerBI and Power Automate is nice to have.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Data verse is nice to have.
