Looking for a DevOps engineer working with Azure, GitHub, SonarQube, and hands on CI/CD experience and is responsible foroptimizing the software development lifecycle through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement practices. key responsibilities include:
Infrastructure Automation: Designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or tools like Terraform for provisioning and configuring cloud resources.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications. This involves configuring build agents, defining build scripts, and orchestrating deployment workflows.
Source Code Management: Managing code repositories on GitHub, including branching strategies, code reviews, and ensuring version control best practices are followed to facilitate collaboration among development teams.
Quality Assurance: Integrating SonarQube into the CI/CD pipeline for static code analysis, code quality monitoring, and identifying potential technical debt or vulnerabilities early in the development process.
Monitoring and Logging: Implementing monitoring solutions on Azure using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Prometheus to track application performance, detect issues, and gather insights into system behavior.
Security: Collaborating with security teams to implement security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline, including code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and compliance checks.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Documenting deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and best practices to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer among team members.
Continuous Improvement: Actively seeking opportunities to optimize and streamline the CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure provisioning, and development workflows through automation, tooling enhancements, and process improvements.
