Small team, made up of two data engineers (ETL, Algo development), two software engineers, 8 data analyst with varying technical knowledge but SMEs in the identification of fraud, waste and abuse, two report developers (Cognos and Power BI).
Project: Multiple projects: MA-LTSS
·develop the ETL for a mature product NH Upgrade
·conversion of data from older case management system to new system
·Assistance with running and balancing weekly loads for 8 clients in different environments.
·Write procedures for new algorithms (14 required this year).
Responsibilities:
·Work closely with data analysts to transform specification into client algorithms (4 Oracle, 2 Snowflake)
·Code complex procedures to support new client algorithms (4 Oracle, 2 Snowflake)
·Contribute to technical documentation of specifications and processes
·Responsible for weekly data loads and balancing of 9 accounts (6 Oracle, 3 Snowflake)
·Investigate data anomalies to determine root cause, specify appropriate changes and work with engineering and operations teams as the change is implemented and tested
·Research client questions on data results by identifying underlying data elements leveraged and providing descriptions of data transformations involved
·Work closely with engineering and operations teams to answer questions and resolve data issues that arise
·Responsible for extracting and replicating data into a common data mart.
·Drive adoption of best practices and agreed upon design patterns
·Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical leadership
Ideal Background:
Versatile software developer with skills in several technologies. Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, and Linux/Unix command line skills. Experienced working in Azure Cloud.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
·10+ years of Oracle Database experience.
·5+ years of advanced PL/SQL and SQL experience
·5+ years of UNIX command prompt navigation, including VI editor- (Shell Scripts)
Experience that will set candidates apart: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and ETL of healthcare data.
Required:
·10+ years of Oracle Database experience.
·5+ years of experience with data warehouses/marts supporting business requirements
·5+ years of advanced PL/SQL and SQL experience
·5+ years of UNIX command prompt navigation, including VI editor- (Shell Scripts)
·5+ years of experience working with healthcare data, to include 2+ years with Claims data.
Preferred:
·Experience working in a matrixed environment on a fast-paced project
·Experience developing within an agile framework
·Experience with Snowflake
·Experience with data loading tools (Talend, Informatica, Data Factory, ODI)
·Exposure to cloud environments experience (Azure).
