The data team is responsible for query optimization and process automation.  A successful candidate will have Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) experience.  This project is focused on how the client’s data lake and data bricks current system can be optimized.  Self-starters are expected to review the configuration and provide optimization ideas for approval, and then execute those improvements.  Data storage, query optimization, and cost reductions are the top three measuring sticks for success.

Job Duties

• Review current configuration of client’s systems in regard to their data lake and data bricks services
• Provide ‘Data Pipeline Creation’ repair current data flow issues, provide maintenance, and suggest improvement across functional data schemas in Commercial, R&D, M&Q, G&A 
• Query evaluation and optimization 
• Minimize downtime due to high query costs/wait times
• Data delivery and operations best practices implementation
