- Technical Architect spanning integrations, enhancements, reports, conversions and forms within SAP landscape
- Understand business requirements and design technical solutions to meet the business objectives
- Ultimate accountability and oversight for driving overall SAP technical solutions from business idea to implementation
- Play a key role in design reviews, identify gaps and recommend changes. Drive modernization keeping in mind complexity of the landscape.
- Support the development team with the design and development guidance Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the development strategy
- Perform review of the technical team’s work and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP’s leading practices
- Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical objects are leveraged, and the work is not duplicated
- Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation
- Participate in the project roadmap and strategy definition.
- Support the creation of training and solution documentation
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects
- Must be hands-on with RICEFW development using ABAP and Fiori as needed to support project timelines and objectives
Required Experience and Skills:
- BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher with 10 – 12 years of experience
- 6+ years’ work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role
- Have a good understanding of SAP best practice
- Experience with SAP security concepts
- Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with very good functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules such as FI, P2P, OTC and MM
- Must have extensive development experience in S/4HANA using ABAP objects, CDS Models, AMDP, SAPUI5, OData developments
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
- Understanding of SAP RISE Model is a plus
- Experience with Java based development is a plus
- Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications
- Experience with BRIM, ARIBA is a plus
- Experience in working with SAP Cloud technologies like SAC and other SAP Cloud technologies is a plus
- Experience managing projects and working with a team of Engineers
- Expertise in doing Solution demos and presentations to customers/business stake holders/architects is a plus
- Exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR and Export Compliance is a plus
- Experience with Data Masking, Data Anonymization techniques is a huge plus
- Good understanding of SAP architecture and technical data flow of SAP business processes is plus
- Should be proficient in performance tuning to deliver optimized solutions
- Ability to assess and manage/notify technical risks and issues to the manager
