Provide expert guidance on SAP TM processes and integrations with other SAP modules. Facilitate TM workshops to gather and analyze business requirements.
Lead and manage a small team of consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality TM solutions. Oversee the team's deliverables and provide mentorship.
Lead the design and implementation of the SAP TM work-stream. Ensure that solutions are aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide SAP TM solutions. Articulate and present different points of view on SAP TM and its associated technologies and integrations.
Review, analyze, and evaluate as-is business processes within the transport management work-stream. Design to-be business processes based on the SAP TM standard template and best practices.
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP TM. Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.
Oversee all TM requirements delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Provide guidance to businesses on the appropriate use of the SAP TM system. Assist in the design and implementation of business processes.
Required Experience
Minimum of 10 years in logistics applications and at least 5 years of SAP TM implementation experience.
Involvement in at least two full cycle implementations of SAP TM. Experience with S/4HANA TM embedded projects is preferred.
Full responsibility for SAP TM business process design and implementation.
Good understanding of cross-industry and specific planning of business processes.
Deep knowledge in supply chain management processes, including:
Transportation processes for shippers and freight forwarders (LSP)
Integration of SAP documents (SO/PO/Deliveries)
Transportation planning and optimization
Collaborative processes
Transportation charge management
Execution and monitoring processes
Charge settlement and payment processes (SAP S/4)
Integration between TM and EWM (required), TM and GTS, and TM and dangerous goods.
Understanding of the shipper and LSP business processes in the supply chain preferred.
Experience with the integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules such as EWM, GTS, and handling of dangerous goods preferred.
