JOB DETAIL

Data Solution Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making across the agency by implementing data governance and data analytics solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implement logical and physical data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Map data flows between various systems and applications to optimize data movement and minimize errors.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a master data management strategy to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes to maintain the integrity of ODAs data and ensure smooth exchange with the Innovate Ohio platform.
  • Champion and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data security, privacy, and accessibility within ODA and when collaborating with the Innovate Ohio platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within ODA and with the Innovate Ohio platform team to understand business needs and translate them into technical data solutions that enable collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data management trends and technologies, evaluating their potential application within ODA and for enhancing collaboration with the Innovate Ohio platform.

Mandatory Requirements/Time

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing logical and physical data models.
  • In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data management concepts.
  • Expertise in master data management principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of data quality methodologies and data cleansing techniques.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders within ODA and with the Innovate Ohio platform team.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools.
