Following agile methodologies we evolve them from early definitions to get them live in production, ensuring through the process that business stakeholders are involved and aligned to the final product.

 

Desired Candidate Profile :

** MySQL:

At least 3-4 years performing DBA tasks in the following specs:

- Installation, configuration, migration

- Data modeling

- Performance tuning

- Advise and perform changes on large/huge databases

- Replication: Single Master, Multi Master (very important)

- Replication troubleshooting

- Experience with Percona Toolkit

- Data import, export with mysqldump and DMS

 

** PostgreSQL / Redshift

At least 1-2 years performing DBA tasks in the following specs:

- Installation in EC2 and RDS, configuration, migration, difference between ds2 and RA3 (Redshift)

- Cluster setup / Upgrade (Redshift)

- Migrate and clone data

-Upgrade

- Performance tuning

- Issues troubleshooting (low performance, locks, impact of temp queries on storage)

 

** Mongo / Mongo Atlas:

At least 1-2 years performing DBA tasks in the following specs:

- Cluster setup, configuration, migration (mongo mirror)

- Databases access, user management, access with LDAP, VDI, catalog users

- Network access with Private endpoint and standard connection

- Replication and Sharding

- Mongo import, dump and restore

- Monitoring and alerting

 

** AWS:

At least 1-2 years performing DBA tasks in the following specs:

- Servers in EC2 and RDS

- Restore Databases with AMI and cloning volumes

- DMS with EC2, RDS or S3, cloudwatch

 

- Redshift clusters

 

** Basic knowledge of Scylla, Databricks and MariaDB is a plus

** Others tools (nice to have): NewRelic, Jenkins, Grafana (edited)
