Job Brief
A java developer with at least two years of overall software development experience,
specifically in Java development. If you are friendly, self-motivated, hardworking, responsible

We are looking to add to our team of software engineers as we expand into brand new
offices. We are looking for individuals with experience in building high-performing, scalable,
enterprise-grade applications. You will create user information solutions by developing;
implementing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces

Roles and Responsibilities
Translate application storyboards and use cases into effective code
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
Take ownership of module till it gets deployed to production in timely manner
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and
presenting these for architectural review
Eager to work on latest technologies

Desired Candidate Profile

Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (MySQL,
Hibernate)
Experience in the Spring Framework
Experience with test-driven development

Must-Have:
Java 8

Relational Database (Must have working experience with any of the
databases: Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLServer)
REST API (Ability to write scalable rest api which can handle more than 20k
simultaneous users)
