Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable, efficient, high performance control plane software for large scale enterprise and hybrid cloud.

• Design and develop features for the Nutanix manageability platform that interacts with Nutanix Core Services.

• Design and Implement a cloud scale API platform that makes it easy for developers to build, publish, execute and manage APIs at cloud scale.

• Design and Implement robust APIs to be used by the front-end.

• Design and build software for managing virtual infrastructure

• Build effective unit and integration tests

• Ability to direct a team of engineers on complex Manageability projects.

• Ability to write scripts and tools for development and debugging.

Requirements:

• Love for writing clean, modular code in a fast paced, Agile development model.

• Extensive experience in system architecture and designing.

• Knowledge of cloud architectures, technical architecture of public cloud providers (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Working experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, Helm, Kustomize etc.

• Solid Java/Golang/Python experience required.

• Experience in webstack components (load balancers, reverse proxy) and API frameworks.

• Experience with web servers and REST APIs a PLUS.

• Deep understanding of scalable and distributed systems.

• Experience in working in Linux environment.

• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V) and Cloud Infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.

• Over 3-4 years of industry experience.
