What are my roles and responsibilities?
- Defining, documenting, tracking, grooming, estimating, and reviewing user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Following agile best practices, and participating in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, story grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and product showcases.
Translating requirements into user stories, user-centric designs, and API definitions.
- Partnering with product owners, key stakeholders, and delivery teams to identify solutions.
- Maintaining a healthy sprint backlog that aligns with the product backlog, defined MVPs, and priorities.
- Advising product owners and stakeholders on options, risks, and creative solutions.
- Identifying issues, creating action items, and developing resolutions.
- Obtaining sign-off from key stakeholders, product owners, and end users.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product and delivery teams.
- Creating help and training documentation for end users and internal support teams.
- Facilitating product training and demonstration sessions.
- Providing assistance with preliminary functional testing, the definition of test scripts, and the coordination of UAT.
- Collaborating with business users and technology partners at all levels.
What skills and experiences would I bring into this role?
- Familiarity with backlog managementcollaboration tools such as JIRA, Microsoft TFS, Confluence, and SharePoint.

- Ability to develop and articulate well thought out business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience producing artifacts, including user stories, use cases, product requirements, user journeys, and high-level wire frames.
- Experience with the entire software development life cycle, including project initiation, requirements definition, user acceptance testing, and implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- BE BTech MTech with MBA is a must.
- 5+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, or Product Owner.
