Key Responsibilities
1. Various ceramic coating processes for semiconductor chamber components, such as CVD, PVD, and thermal spray, etc
2. Knowledge in micro-contamination control including prevision cleaning and analytics is plus
3. Strong project management skills to accomplish multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products. Applies knowledge of qualified sources and products to recommend materials to Design Engineering, which would result in savings, lead time reductions, system improvements, increased life and/or mitigated risk.
5. Work with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.
6. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
7. Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
8. Performing quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.
9. Support product development and improvement teams by sourcing new technologies from qualified suppliers.
Functional Knowledge
1. Regarded as the technical expert in the following technical areas
2. Materials science and engineering of various ceramic coating processes, such as CVD, PVD, and thermal spray, etc.
3. Fabrication and manufacturing of ceramic coating coated semiconductor components
4. Cleaning of various ceramic materials, quartz, and coated parts.
5. Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
6. Material analysis and characterization as well as surface analysis of ceramic materials/quartz and coating.
7. Failure analysis for the structural integrity of coated and ceramic materials/quartz

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD/MS/BS Degree in Surface Chemistry, material science, or Chemical Engineering
• 4-7 Years of Experience
