JOB DETAIL

Responsibilities:

  • Developing interfaces for Android applications
  • Architecting scalable android applications
  • Building parsers for JSON/XML input for data usage in Android applications
  • Write awesome code as well as conduct code reviews

Requirements:

  • Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code that is easy to read and modify while rapidly iterating and shipping
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
  • Knowledge of Common SDK Frameworks like Location, GPS, Notifications, Map API
  • Understanding of Web Service Integration: SOAP, REST, JSON, XML
  • Thorough understanding of Database: Native sqlite and Core data
  • Experience in performance optimization of Android applications and XMPP Protocol would be desirable
